Data show that Anhui Province currently has 49 ceramic building production lines (including roof tiles), including 35 ceramic roof tile (including Western tiles, ancient architectural tiles, small green tiles, flat tiles, flat tiles, West tile accessories, etc.) production lines. In other words, there are only 14 ceramic tile production lines left in Anhui Province, with a daily ceramic tile production capacity of 351,800 square meters.
Anhui Province plans to build 2 production lines. Among them, Anhui Xin Chenggong Porcelain Technology Co., Ltd. is building a porcelain tile production line, and Anhui Chenxi Ceramics Co., Ltd. plans to build a medium plate production line.
Two major bases and 8 ceramic companies closed

Compared with 2017 data, the number of ceramic tile companies in Anhui Province has shrunk from 30 to 24 in the past three years (a decrease of 8 companies, 2 new ones, a net decrease of 6 companies), and the number of ceramic tile production lines has shrunk from 22 to 14. Brick and polished tile lines disappeared in Anhui Province. Ceramic roof tile production lines and production capacity have expanded against the trend, from 27 lines and a daily production capacity of 2.2866 million pieces in 2017 to 35 today and a daily production capacity of 6.2656 million pieces, an increase of 174%.
At present, Anhui ceramics enterprises are mainly distributed in seven cities: Suzhou, Huaibei, Ma'anshan, Lu'an, Wuhu, Anqing and Xuancheng. Among them, there are 6 ceramic companies in Suzhou City, 5 ceramic companies in Anqing City (one is planned to be put into production in October), 7 ceramic companies in Xuancheng City, 2 ceramic companies in Wuhu City and Lu'an City, and Huaibei City, Ma'anshan City each has one ceramics company.
In recent years, the governments of many industrial areas in Anhui have put forward rigid requirements for ceramic enterprises to switch from coal to gas production. For example, there were three original ceramic companies in Jiujiang District, Wuhu City. With the closure and withdrawal of three ceramic companies, the development of the ceramic industry in Jiujiang Economic Development Zone has come to an end. This is the second ceramic production base to be shut down in Anhui Province so far.
As early as March 2017, the Lieshan Ceramics Industrial Park in Huaibei City, Anhui Province was required by the local government to suspend production. It can be said that with the tightening of national environmental protection policies, governments across Anhui Province have increased their efforts to govern the ceramics industry. At the same time, as the industry reshuffle continues to deepen, a new industry pattern for Anhui architectural ceramics has initially taken shape, and the polarization of ceramics companies has become more obvious.
Anhui Province｜Wuhu City
The coal-to-gas conversion forced the closure of 3 ceramics companies, and now only 2 are left
Currently, there are only two ceramic companies in Wuhu City, Fanchang County Elephant Ceramics Co., Ltd. and Anhui Weimei Ceramics Co., Ltd. Compared with three years ago, Wuhu City has lost three ceramic production companies.
According to the 2017 survey data, Wuhu Jiujiang Economic Development Zone originally had three ceramic production enterprises: Chaohu Lihua Ceramics Co., Ltd., Anhui Kalilong Ceramics Co., Ltd. and Wuhu Hengjie Ceramics Co., Ltd., which produce domestic ceramics. Wall tiles and polished tiles are the main ones.
In recent years, as market competition continues to intensify, the survival pressure of interior wall tiles and polished tiles has increased day by day, and many manufacturers are facing a huge test of survival. At the same time, the governments of some production areas require coal-fired enterprises to switch to natural gas production, which makes it difficult for manufacturers with small profit sales to survive and accelerates the withdrawal of interior wall tile and polished tile production lines.
In fact, to switch to natural gas production, ceramic companies will need to invest huge amounts of transformation costs. After careful weighing, the three ceramic companies began shutting down their production lines in June 2019. As of March 2020, the production lines of three ceramic companies have been completely dismantled. At this point, the development of the ceramics industry in Jiujiang Economic Development Zone may come to an end temporarily, and the pattern of the ceramics industry in Wuhu City will also change.
Anhui Province｜Huaibei City
There is only one new ceramics company, which plans to put into production in the near future
Currently, there is only one ceramics production enterprise in Huaibei City, Anhui Xincheng Porcelain Technology Co., Ltd. It is a newly established ceramics enterprise in 2020 and will be put into production in the near future. Previously, many ceramic companies had settled in the Lieshan Ceramics Industrial Park in Lieshan District, Huaibei City. However, due to various reasons, all ceramic enterprises in Lieshan Ceramics Industrial Park have been shut down. This is also the first ceramic production base to be shut down in Anhui Province in recent years.
It is understood that Huaibei and surrounding areas in Anhui Province containThere are abundant ceramic raw materials, so Huaibei City is full of confidence in the development of the ceramics industry. The Lieshan District Government has also specially planned and constructed the Lieshan Ceramics Industrial Park to devote itself to the development of the ceramics industry.
However, the development of Lieshan ceramic industry has not been smooth sailing. Affected by various reasons, some ceramic companies in the park have been shut down or bankrupt. As of March 2017, all ceramic companies in Lieshan Ceramics Industrial Park have stopped production.
Today, as the only building ceramics manufacturer in Huaibei City, Anhui Xin Chenggong Porcelain Technology Co., Ltd. plans to build two porcelain tile production lines with a daily output of 50,000 square meters. The first phase of the production line has been completed and is scheduled to be started in the near future. It is understood that the total investment of the project of Anhui Xin Chenggong Porcelain Technology Co., Ltd. is about 550 million yuan, with a total land area of more than 200 acres. Anhui Province｜Suzhou City
6 ceramic companies have been built, and the industrial environment is relatively stable
There are currently 6 ceramic construction companies in Suzhou City, 5 of which are located in Xiao County. In 2017, 4 ceramic companies had been established in Xiao County. At that time, there were 3 other ceramic companies under construction: Anhui Yujing Ceramics Co., Ltd., Anhui Xinlitai Ceramics Co., Ltd., and Anhui Xinyigao Ceramics Co., Ltd.
Today, Anhui Xinlitai Ceramics Co., Ltd. and Anhui Xinyigao Ceramics Co., Ltd. were completed and put into production in 2018 and 2019 respectively, while Anhui Yujing Ceramics Co., Ltd. has never been completed and put into production.
In recent years, as market competition has become increasingly fierce, the production and sales of ceramic companies in Suzhou have also been greatly affected. Some ceramic companies have responded by reducing production capacity or shutting down production lines. However, it is worth mentioning that in the second half of 2019, affected by the "coal-to-gas" transition in Linyi production areas, Xiaoxian ceramics companies undertook a large number of production orders from Linyi ceramics customers. 1 newly established ceramics company and 4 tile companies
There are currently 5 construction ceramics manufacturers in Anqing City, 2 each in Susong County and Wangjiang County, and 1 in Yuexi County. Most of their products are ceramic roof tiles.
As the only ceramic tile manufacturer in Anqing City, the establishment of Anhui Chenxi Ceramics Co., Ltd. has been full of twists and turns. As early as 2011, Anhui Chenxi Ceramics Co., Ltd., with a planned total investment of 2 billion yuan, officially signed a contract to settle in Susong Ceramics Industrial Park. This was the first ceramic industry project settled in the ceramics industrial park. According to the plan, the project will build 12 floor tile production lines, and the first phase of the project will build 3 production lines, which will be completed and put into operation in July 2012.
However, due to various reasons, the Chenxi Ceramics project was suspended for many years. Until 2019, Anhui Chenxi Ceramics Co., Ltd. restarted construction in 20It was completed in August 2020 and is scheduled to be put into production in October. In recent years, as competition in roofing tiles has intensified, roofing tile manufacturers in Xuancheng have also undergone certain changes. Some small-scale manufacturers with weak sales capabilities have withdrawn from closure.
