This cool and warm two-person home is located in Chengdu, the land of abundance. It is a large flat floor with 132 square meters of multi-space. The designer took the freedom and storage into consideration and combined cement, wood and other elements to create a simple and comfortable private residence.
The 132㎡ space is divided into multiple independent small spaces. The living room and dining room are narrow and long. Based on the considerations of spatial fluency, viewing distance and storage space, the designer placed the sofa next to the window. The location maximizes the central activity area of the open living room space.
Open up the kitchen, dining room and living room, allowing spaces with different attributes to be mixed together, giving residents a rich living experience. The sliding door of the kitchen is located on the outside. When pushed open, the space for entertaining guests can be increased to a greater extent, making it convenient for weekend get-togethers with relatives and friends.
Taking into account the hostess's interest in Japanese cooking methods, a sideboard and a worktop were added to the restaurant, which are convenient and easy to operate, so that you can easily enjoy delicious Japanese cuisine at any time.
Two people, nine cats, and two dogs form a warm and cool home, so the pet’s activity needs are taken into consideration in the selection of soft furnishings and home decoration.
Using the height difference between the balcony and the living room, a transition area is created to prevent cat litter from being brought into the living room. On both sides of the sofa, two small spaces are reserved for placing water bowls for pets to prevent them from being kicked over and also improve the tidiness of the space.
A large amount of wood is used on the TV background wall, and the obvious lines add a sense of layering to the space. Behind it is a hidden storage space. Plan the layout according to the different materials, functions, frequency of use and other characteristics of the items to facilitate daily use.
The wall between the study room and the living room was opened, and the partition was replaced by a pet runway. The scattered small toys on the runway added a touch of fun to the space. In addition to the ground runway, an aerial cat climbing frame is also thoughtfully designed for cats. At a certain moment,Looking up casually, I can see the puffy flesh pads floating above my head. This kind of happiness is so wonderful.
In order to prevent pets from rummaging through items, in addition to the living room, large-capacity hidden storage cabinets are also built in the bedroom. At the same time, in order to protect the wires and pets, the sockets are specially embedded.
The bathroom is designed with a large-sized bathtub to add a little spice to life~ The overall color tone is consistent with that of the living room and bedroom, and the dark space makes the space look more comfortable.
