"I've had enough to ask for consent. I don't want to follow the rules. I want to follow my heart!"
— "Coco·COCO"
In this well-known anime, dreams, family love, and life and death are the three main threads that run through the entire movie. The most interesting thing is that the play uses the Day of the Dead (Death Day), a unique Mexican festival, as a carrier to tightly connect these three themes. It not only portrays the theme delicately and touchingly, but also expresses Mexican cultural elements and characteristics. It is vivid and memorable.
This most warm "Ghost Festival" is one of the grandest festivals in Mexico. Colorful paper-cuts, food, marigolds, portraits, musical instruments, buildings, animals, etc. all reflect the love of color in Mexico, a country with a long history, and are used in various handicrafts, buildings, cityscapes, animals, and daily life. Achieving perfection.
How warm, colorful and energetic is this Mexican style?
And the spirit of persistent pursuit of dreams
Isn’t it the theme of Guangzhou Design Week 2021
"Youth · BLOOM" What attitude do you want to convey?

The blend of monuments and colors
Mexico is the birthplace of many American civilizations. The world-famous Mayan culture, Toltec culture and Aztec culture were all created by the ancient Indians of Mexico. At the same time, Mexicans are natural masters of color matching. Walking on the streets of Magic Town is like walking into a colorful oil painting.
The vitality of modern architecture
Mexico's culture is unique, and its architecture is even more unique. The most representative Mexican architectural feature in modern times is Luis Barragán, one of the most important Mexican architects in the 20th century. Winner of the second Pritzker Prize in 1980. The scale of his works is not large, and most of his works are residential. He often designs buildings, gardens, and furniture together. He likes bright and saturated colors. Pink, red, yellow, and blue that most architects dare not use have become his favorites.
The vitality of the new generation of designers
Mexico has a vibrant new generation of architecture and interior design, with numerous outstanding designers emerging in the well-known design competition - the North American PI Design Awards. This professional award originating from North America was founded in 2012 and is recognized by international experts in architecture and design. Designers from Mexico, Canada, the United States, Guatemala and China participate in it. It is the leading architectural and design award in North America and the Asia-Pacific region. Interior design is a stage for showcasing strength and international exchanges.
The muse of trend inspiration
Mexico’s most representative artist—Frida Kahlo
Her work is internationally hailed as a symbol of Mexico's national and indigenous heritage and considered by feminists as an uncompromising depiction of female experience and form. Today, the Frida effect has penetrated into multiple expressions in fashion, design and other industries in diversified forms. Designers draw inspiration from female artists.
Distinctive folk art
In Mexico, from accessories and pendants to various furnishings and decorations, colors are used to the extreme. The strong and gorgeous colors are combined layer by layer to make your mood warm.
Unique natural scenery and delicious food
In Mexico, its unparalleled natural scenery will make you linger, its food will make you unforgettable, and its national liquor, Tequila, is world-renowned and will make you obsessed with it.
Humanity has always been a flower that never withers in the design world. Design is not affected by culture at all times and everywhere. Differences in cultural factors such as literary and artistic trends, history and politics, geographical environment, customs, and eating habits have affected the way designers and audiences think, forming unique design principles, styles, and systems, thereby creating diverse design products. .
And what kind of unexpected surprises will the designs born in Mexico’s colorful humanistic and artistic environment bring us?
